Weight loss is not difficult to understand. In fact, there are 3 simple keys to understanding what is required to lose weight. Understanding these 3 keys will enable anyone to achieve their weight loss goals.
Have you been on the weight loss roller coaster? You know the drill, you lose it, and you gain it back plus more. Maybe you are on it right now. Would you like to get off? You can, with these 3 key concepts. Weight loss is not difficult to understand. You simply must burn more calories than you consume. Doctors and diet experts all agree that this is the only way that you can lose weight.


Unfortunately, our modern day culture has made it very difficult and frustrating for the majority of people to lose weight. This is mainly due to the fact, that there is less opportunity to do physical work and more opportunity to eat processed foods.

In fact, one of the largest contributors to obesity in this country is due to the industrialization of the processed food industry. Although the efficiency of food production in this country has led to us having the cheapest food in the world, it has also led us to have an epidemic of obesity as a result. There are really only 3 basic concepts that you need to understand, to be successful in your weight loss efforts.
  1. You need to understand what foods are preventing you from burning fat.
  2. You need to know which foods will put you into fat burning mode.
  3. And, you need to understand how to control your hunger to get the full fat burning effect.
Now the first 2 concepts will undoubtedly place you on track to losing weight. Eliminating foods that prevent you from burning fat, such as refined white foods, foods that contain high fructose corn syrup, and hydrogenated oils, will keep you off the blood/sugar roller coaster, thus allowing you to burn fat. Increasing your consumption of high fiber, fat burning foods such as, all fruits and vegetables, sweet potatoes, and beans will not only give you the vitamins and nutrients that you need but will also help keep your blood/sugar level more steady and less likely to spike and then crash, causing hunger to set in.

Now, following the first 2 concepts will assist you in following concept number 3. Keeping your blood sugar/insulin level steady helps control your hunger. However, in our culture today, where we eat out so much it is difficult to eliminate everything that contains refined white foods, high fructose corn syrup and hydrogenated oils. That is because our processed food industry is literally built upon these foods.

So, it takes real dedication to follow these concepts. It not only takes dedication but it requires serious effort on your part. The reason is, that you cannot eat out at your typical eating places without consuming large quantities of the foods that I spoke of that causes you to gain weight. Understanding and following these 3 simple concepts will give you the knowledge that you need to succeed in your weight loss efforts. Weight loss is not complicated. You must burn more calories than you consume. And following these 3 simple concepts will enable you to put your body into fat burning mode.
